Blue Caves – Nausica

Paleokastritsa, on Corfu’s northwestern coast, has six beaches and is widely considered one of the island’s most naturally resplendent areas, where stunning turquoise and emerald waters combine with lavish vegetation and pretty, sandy coves. A favorite experience for tourists is to hop into a boat and visit various otherwise hard-to-reach coastlines and numerous beautiful caves, each of which has its own story.

The most well known among the caves is Nausica; according to Homer’s Odyssey, the cave is where Nausica, daughter of the Phaeacian King Alcinous, found and nursed Odysseus back to health. The cave has an enchanting light at its depth, inspiring visitors to dive in and explore.
