Unspoiled by tourism, this Blue Flag beach with fine pebbles and clear water is ideal for families, not only because of its natural beauty but also for its sailing school, the swimming lessons on offer, the nearby horseback riding facilities and plenty of water sports (with surf board, canoe and pedal boat rentals). The beach, 37k from Corfu town, is more peaceful than the touristy Kassiopi resort nearby, but still has all the necessary seaside facilities for spending a leisurely amount of time on the beach, such as several taverns serving good local food and outlets renting umbrellas and sun loungers.
